About Sarah Sage
Sarah Sage is the Director for Strategy and Operations, supporting the Office of the Provost since 2021. She holds a BFA from SMU and pursued her MFA studies at UT Austin before returning to Dallas and joining SMU in 2011.
While at SMU, she has successfully managed major IT infrastructure projects and other University-wide initiatives in Academic Affairs. Her current responsibilities include portfolio management for the Academic Affairs Forum, as well as overseeing project and operations management for the University Decision Support (SMU) team.
Sarah brings a unique perspective to her role, combining her background in the arts with project management expertise. In her leisure time, you may find her wandering through the Laura W. Bush Native Texas Park at SMU with a sketchbook in hand, inspired by the ever-changing Texas landscape.
