As the SMU campus has expanded, the Real Estate Department of Management and Leasing has continued to flourish. Starting with the purchase of single family homes, the department has grown to include residential, retail, and office properties.
Our residential properties now include over 60 single family homes and duplexes. Reserved for faculty and staff of SMU, the residential properties enjoy the convenience of being within walking distance to campus, shopping, and entertainment. With the majority of homes located on Fondren, McFarlin, Potomac, and SMU Blvd, families enjoy the safety of University Park along with the highly regarded Highland Park Independent School District. Residential homes are available in many sizes to fit your family needs from 1,000 to 4,800 square feet.
Our retail properties include some of the most popular shopping on Mockingbird Lane. Historic Park Cities Plaza is home to community favorites such as Horchow Finale, la Madeleine, and CVS Pharmacy along with many specialty stores for one-stop-shopping. Along the south side of Mockingbird sit Cobblestone Shoe Repair, 7-Eleven, Zoom Wireless, and FlowerMart.
Our office property is Expressway Tower located in east campus, at Yale Blvd and Central Expressway (I-75). With fifteen stories and over 190,000 square feet of office space, Expressway Tower enjoys the historical significance of once being home to the Dallas Cowboys.
The Real Estate Department of Management and Leasing is located in suite 160 of Expressway Tower.
