The Mustang Band performs at athletic and special events throughout the year for Southern Methodist University. We serve as the heartbeat of school spirit at all home football and basketball games, and annually produce Pigskin Revue as part of Homecoming Festivities. Known for our unique jazz sound and style, the Mustang Band offers an experience unlike any other for members and audiences alike!

Pigskin Revue

Started in 1933, Pigskin Revue is the longest running tradition at Southern Methodist University. It is a variety show that features acts from groups all over campus, including current students, faculty, and alumni.

The mission of the Mustang Band is to provide the University community with spirited, high-quality musical performances at athletic events in particular, and on other occasions in general, as the most visible ambassadors and custodians of school tradition, pageantry and campus pride.
