The mission of the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History is to promote the knowledge and understanding of American history through educational programs and resources. Gilder Lehrman's Teacher Seminars offer K-12 educators opportunities to join programs across the country which feature leading American history professors, visits to local historic sites, and hands-on work with primary sources.

The Center for Presidential History is proud to partner with Gilder Lehrman by regularly hosting a 6-day summer seminar entitled "Presidents at War: McKinley to Obama." The seminar is led by CPH Director Jeffrey Engel along with a group of CPH postdoctoral fellows and other Dallas-area scholars. You can find information on applying for this program by clicking here.
