SAMANTHA THOMSON LOCOCO received her BA with honors in English and World Literature from Marymount Manhattan College, and was a Creative Writing Fellow in The New School’s MFA program, where she earned her master's degree, becoming the first person in her family to do so. Having spent more than a decade as an editor and educator, she has dedicated much time to cultivating the voices of others, deepening her love of collaboration. She has taught rhetoric, poetry, memoir writing, fiction, and play-writing to a wide age range of students. She brings with her a boundless curiosity and encourages her students to do the same.
