In Memoriam – Susan Layne Dadres 1961-2022

In May 2022, the department mourned the passing of one of our adjunct faculty members, Susan Dadres. Susan graduated with her PhD from SMU in 1998, and taught Economics for over 35 years at Trinity University, TWU, UTD, SMU and UNT. The Economics workbooks she co-authored with Kari Battaglia gave thousands of undergraduates the additional practice they needed to be successful in their classes. She was beloved by her students, her classes filling quickly as her reputation preceded her. We are very lucky to have worked with her over the years.
