Joy Morrow

My research focuses on the British novel throughout the long nineteenth century and adaptation theory. I am interested in shifting ideologies in various reinterpretations of texts. I have written on period dramas, like Bridgerton and Downton Abbey; the evolution of character portrayals throughout Alice in Wonderland films and media that features Queen Victoria. I also have a minor interest in physical objects within novels.
