SMU Cox Clinical Professor Michael Davis appeared on C-SPAN’s Washington Journal to discuss possible causes and implications of the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank. Professor Davis cautioned against drawing conclusions about the “mess” until more causation is established, but speculated that “whatever the solution is here, I’m already convinced that it’s going to [involve] requiring banks to carry more capital.”
