    Charlotte Haendler is an assistant professor of finance.  She holds a doctorate in finance from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. Her research focuses on how digitalization is reshaping the traditional banking sector and on the impact of consumer protection programs on the financial sector at large. Before earning her PhD, Charlotte worked at the European Central Bank in the Market Infrastructure and Payments division. She also holds a joint master's degree in financial economics from Bocconi University and HEC Paris. She grew up in Italy, which left her with a strong passion for art and food.
