Upon approval by the President of the University, an updated Student Handbook is published each summer, just prior to the beginning of AARO (Academic Advising, Registration & Orientation). Students, faculty and staff may make suggestions for revisions and changes by getting in touch with the SMU Student Senate, located in the Student Activities & Multicultural Student Affairs Office, Hughes-Trigg Student Center Rm. 300, ph 214-768-4400.
