The award is presented by the Annette Caldwell Simmons School
of Education and Human Development at SMU. The school aims to transform the
way teaching and leadership enhance the education of young minds and lifelong
learners. Through enlightened research and scholarship, the school thoughtfully
challenges traditional ideas about education systems and practices.
