Rebecca Hood

Becky Hood is the Senior Assistant Dean in the Simmons School. She oversees the school’s advertising plans, contracts, catalog preparations, HR processes, web communications, enrollment issues, and building operations.

A native of Dallas, Becky worked for Texas State University and then the Dallas County Community College District before coming to SMU. She earned an B.S. in Education and an M.A. in Educational Psychology from U.T. Austin.
