3L Competes in National Law Competition

Ryan Shellooe (3L) competed in the The Closer National Transactional Law Competition at Baylor University School of Law in Waco, TX on January 11-14, 2024. He was coached by Professor Carla L. Reyes.

The Closer is an invitation-only competition, and schools are selected to participate based on the strength of their business law programs. Shellooe represented Hotel 1928, a boutique hotel owned by Chip and Joanna Gaines, in the negotiation of an event buyout agreement.
