Visitor and Parking Information
The Department of Philosophy is located in Hyer Hall on the University's historic Main Quad, at the corner of Robert S. Hyer Lane and University Boulevard.

Visitors to the department may find it easiest to approach SMU from the east, via SMU Boulevard, which is accessible from U.S. Highway 75 (North Central Expressway). Visitor parking is available in the Moody Parking Garage (3063 SMU Blvd.) at the southeast corner of SMU Boulevard and Airline Road. Visitors may then walk north on Airline Road, west on University Boulevard, and arrive at Hyer Hall, on the corner of University Boulevard and Robert S. Hyer Lane. (A more scenic option is to walk west through campus to Bishop Boulevard, north along Bishop Boulevard and across the Main Quad to the Kennemer Fountain, and then northeast across the Main Quad to Hyer Hall.) Link to SMU maps
