Financial Consulting

Financial Consulting is a cross-disciplinary major, which combines finance and accounting. This major provides students with upper-level coursework in both disciplines, preparing students for roles in the financial industry as well as public accounting. The major fulfills the undergraduate prerequisite course requirements for the Master of Science in Accounting if a student is interested in pursuing that opportunity. Additionally, financial consulting majors, along with finance majors, are eligible for the Practicum in Portfolio Management course  or the Alternative Asset Management specialization.
