Parking and Maps

During the Academic Year:

While the fall or spring semesters are in session, various options are available depending on the circumstances of each conference. Typical options include:

  • Electronic Permits: These permits can be sent ahead by the Conference Organizer to the conference attendees via e-mail.
  • Park and Pay: In various garages on campus, guests and visitors can park and then pay as they exit the garage based on the length of time the vehicle parked inside the garage. This option is typically less economical than purchasing a flat-rate electronic permit.
  • Purchase a Visitor’s Permit at the Parking Office: Guests and visitors can walk in to the Parking and ID Card Services office between the hours of 8:30AM-4:30PM Monday-Friday to purchase a visitor’s permit.

During the Summer:

While the summer conference season is in session (Memorial Day – mid August), the Office of Conference Services will issue conference parking permits directly to a Conference Organizer. Summer conference parking permits are valid for the duration of the conference for one flat rate. Currently, the summer conference parking permit rate is set at $3.00. This option is far more cost-effective than paying a daily rate and also allows for parking in certain surface lots as designated on the permit.
