Dr. Yetunde Zannou is an Evaluation Project Manager with the SMU’s Center on Research and Evaluation. In her role, Yetunde conducts program evaluations for alternative and supplemental education programs that promote equitable learning opportunities for students in underserved communities across the greater Dallas metroplex. Yetunde specializes in conducting formative evaluations, understanding the relationship between educational contexts, delivery systems, and program success. She develops instruments to collect formative evaluation data and skillfully analyzes data gathered from classroom observations, interviews, and focus groups. In addition, she uses qualitative methods to understand organization theories of change in order to provide clients with technical assistance needed to align program activities, outcomes, and goals over time.

Prior to joining CORE, Yetunde was a postdoctoral fellow in mathematics education at SMU. She also has experience as a clinical adjunct professor in secondary education and as an adjunct professor in mathematics education and mathematics. She received her Ph.D. from Texas A&M University and her M.Ed. from Brooklyn College. She earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology with a Math minor from Howard University.
