Mark Rudich serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Applied Physiology and Wellness. Mark began his career at SMU in 2013 teaching a variety of physical fitness classes of all different varieties in which students try to establish new goals and understand how to live a healthier life; classes such as jogging, weight training, swimming, group fitness, spinning & triathlon.

Mark received his Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from Baylor University and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sports Science & Nutrition from Texas Tech University. While at Baylor University, he taught undergraduate physical fitness classes, as well as helped to coach the Baylor Triathlon Team and a local Swim Team. His strong background & passion in endurance sports also aided him in helping to create the TTU Triathlon Team. Additionally, he earned his Health Fitness Specialist certification from the American College of Sports Medicine.

In his spare time, Mark enjoys riding his bike (road or mountain), swimming, running, cooking, traveling, exploring new places around the city and hanging out with his friends.
