Fondren Library Graduate Student Lounge

The Graduate Student Lounge is open to graduate students enrolled in a course during the current semester. The lounge is located in Fondren Library Red room 320. Graduate students will need an active student ID in order to swipe and unlock the door.

Graduate Study Carrels

Fondren Library

Fondren Library has 17 individual long-term study rooms for Graduate students. These small rooms are in a quiet area of Fondren Library Blue, on the 2nd floor. Each room seats one person and has a small table and electrical outlet. Rooms are assigned for up to 2 years.

All rooms are currently assigned. We are not accepting applications at this time.

Hamon Arts Library

Hamon Arts Library has 10 individual long-term study rooms for Master and PhD students currently enrolled in the Meadows School of the Arts. The rooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Each room has two chairs, a desk, a shared book shelf and electrical outlets.

The study rooms may be reserved for an academic year. All applications must be renewed every fall. Assignments are made based on seniority in your program. If demand is high, two students will be assigned to a single study room.
