M.A. with a Major in Sustainability and Development
As the human population explodes, global resources dwindle. Providing access to clean water, clean air, housing, and transportation will shape public policy, redefine industry, and engage a generation.
In response to the world’s disappearing or inadequate built and natural resources, SMU introduces a new MA in Sustainability and Development. It’s an opportunity to collaborate and interact with multi-industry professionals as well as advocates with The Hunt Institute for Engineering and Humanity. The 30-hour program will prepare students to bring lasting and sustainable solutions to heal a hurting world and design change.
The Hunt Institute for Engineering and Humanity, an advocate for the global poor, supports research, provides direct consultation to community groups, and houses a repository of information for non-profits and non-governmental organizations.
The MA in Sustainability and Development, offered by SMU Lyle with the support of The Hunt Institute and the UN Refugee Agency, will appeal to private, public, and non-profit leaders who wish to serve as a catalyst for change and operate on an expert level of sustainability. [Brochure Download Here]
