M.S. in Electrical Engineering

Program Director: Jerome Butler, Ph.D.

A minimum of eight courses must be taken in two of the areas listed below. A minimum of four courses must be in the primary area and a minimum of two must be in the secondary area. At least 2 of the major courses (6 TCH) must be at the 8000 level.

  • Communication and Networking
  • Signal Processing and Control
  • Computer Engineering
  • Electromagnetics and Optics

Students must also take two minor courses from graduate offerings in EE, EETS, ME, CSE, ENCE, EMIS, Math, Physics, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, Geological Sciences and Business.

An optional MS thesis could be substituted for two of the eight major/minor courses and count towards the 8000 level requirement.
