SMU has designation to administer exchange visitor programs. The Exchange Visitor Program promotes mutual understanding between the people of the United States (U.S.) and the people of other countries by educational and cultural exchanges. The Exchange Visitor Program Participant Welcome Brochure contains contact information for the U.S. Department of State Exchange Visitor Program, Bureau of Cultural Affairs, Private Sector Program Division which designates all program sponsors.
