Mary Moses

Mary Moses is from Santa Barbara, California, and is double majoring in journalism and political science with a minor in public policy and international affairs. She is a President’s Scholar, Pre-Law Scholar, and a member of the University Honors Program. While at SMU, Mary has been involved as a reporter for The Daily Campus and SMU TV, a member of Student Foundation’s Tate Lecture Series Committee, and a research assistant at the Center for Presidential History. She has also served as the layout editor for the SMU’s revived Venture Magazine and is a member of the club tennis team and Chi Omega sorority. Her interests are centered on ethical journalism and the balance between press freedom and national security. Following her graduation, Mary hopes to work as a political correspondent and earn her master’s in journalism.
