Elena Miksenaite

Elena Miksenaite, from Katy, Texas, is a political science major on the pre-med track with minors in Arabic and public policy and international affairs. A President’s Scholar and member of the University Honors Program, she serves on both the President’s Scholars Board and the UHP Student Advisory Committee. Beyond campus, she works as a pharmacy technician and has policy interests in healthcare reform, the opioid crisis, Middle Eastern affairs, and refugee support. In her free time, she enjoys reading, film, travel, skiing, and language learning. After graduation, Elena plans to attend medical school.
