David Chege
David Chege is from Wichita, Ks and is majoring in Business Analytics & Supply Chain Management and Data Science, with a minor in Public Policy and International Affairs. He is actively involved in campus leadership as a Cox Senator in Student Senate, Executive Member of Delta Sigma Pi, and Treasurer for both the Black Businesses Organization and the Black Hair Network. David is also involved in ASA, ABS, the Data Science Club, and the Data Analytics Club, while serving as a Panelist on the Campus Service Advisory Panel. Outside of SMU David often volunteers for his local Family Crisis Center, serving on their Youth Council board for three years. David’s interest in public policy is primarily in understanding how the Government will regulate Artificial Intelligence, especially for businesses, as it continues to evolve.
