Andrew Askins

Andrew Askins is from Charlotte and is majoring in finance with a minor in public policy and international affairs. He is a distinguished Hunt Scholar and a member of SMU’s premier RISE program, while also serving as a Cox Senator. Andrew’s academic and professional interests center on the intersection of finance and public policy, with upcoming hands-on research experience further deepening his work in this area. He is especially passionate about using financial restructuring and investment as tools to strengthen communities across the United States. After college, Andrew hopes to pursue a career that combines his interests in finance and law allowing him to create meaningful economic and social impact.
