Max Keating

Max Keating is from Southlake, Texas, and is double majoring in finance and history. He is a Hunt Leadership Scholar, a Pre-Law Scholar, and a member of the University Honors Program. While at SMU, his involvement has included the Student Foundation, the Tate Lecture Series, and serving as a student photographer for the university. He is also a member of the Reformed University Fellowship and the Wipe Out Kids Cancer Youth Board. Beyond campus, he has led a statewide legislative initiative to expand student representation on school boards and continues working to advance student voice across Texas public schools. His policy interests include students’ rights, education reform, and drug control policy. In his free time, he enjoys reading, film photography, baking, and spending time with family. He plans to attend law school after graduating.
