Nathan Walcott

Bio

Nathan Walcott is rejoining SMU Cox as a clinical professor of finance. He earned a BA in Biochemistry from Rice University and an MBA, MSF, and PhD in Business Administration from the University of Washington.  He has previously held faculty positions at Washington State University, Southern Methodist University—here at the Cox School, and most recently at the University of Colorado – Boulder.  Remarking on his return to SMU Cox, Nathan told us that when he left in 2021, he “knew that the grass was greener at SMU Cox, but he just didn’t know how much greener until after he left.” Nathan says “he learned his lesson and is excited to be back.”
