Applications to the Summer Business Institute may be made by mail, fax, or online.

Criteria for admission: To be eligible for admission to the SMU Cox Summer Business Institute, you need to: • Have completed at least one year of college before the program —OR— • Have earned your bachelor’s degree within the last five years. • Provide a copy of your college transcript. • Demonstrate strong academic preparation through your grade point average and the short essays on the application form.

Admissions decisions will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. To be formally admitted into the program, applicants must submit a copy of their college transcript. Early application is recommended as space in the program is limited. The balance of the program fee is due by May 3, 2019, or upon acceptance, whichever is later.

Deadlines There are three important 2019 dates to remember for applying—February 1, April 1 and May 3. If you miss that date, you can apply until May 3, but you’ll pay the full program fees.
