    Loews Corporation: Corporate Strategy as a Portfolio

    Loews Corporation was looking at purchasing properties from Dominion Resources, and as a member of the strategy committee, you must determine if it is a good idea. First, you will determine whether it makes sound strategical sense to expand, and if so, is Dominion's asking price appropriate, or too high?

    Buffet's Bid for Media General's Newspapers

    You'll use techniques learned in this class to determine whether this was a smart deal for Berkshire Hathaway to offer, and if Media General should accept this deal, or continue searching for other options.

    M&A in Wine Country

    This interactive online simulation will have you take the role of one of three companies. Using secret information, financial forecasts and directions from the board of directors, you will work to get the best deal possible.
