  • Job Postings

    To post internships or full-time opportunities, please visit our shared university-wide job board, Handshake. After your account is approved you will be able to post jobs, register for career fairs, request information sessions and interview dates, and manage the interview process for your candidates.

  • Virtual Meeting Support

    The Cox Career Management Center (CMC) is committed to supporting our employers and students in an environment in which in-person interviewing may not be feasible. We have a robust suite of tools and processes that enable our team to support your organization’s hiring practices in a virtual setting.

  • On-Campus Events and interviews

    Employers are welcome to host career/recruiting -related events and interviews for Cox School of Business students on the SMU campus. To discuss available dates and additional options for on-campus engagement, please contact the Cox Career Management Center at 214-768-6227 or email us. There is no fee to book space on campus through the Career Center.

  • Recruiting for Internships

    An internship is defined as a career-related learning experience that provides exposure and skill development in an occupation and/or industry. 100% of Full-Time MBA students complete an internship during the summer between their first and second years; 93% of undergraduate (BBA) business students complete at least one internship during their time in the Cox School. We welcome your internship postings on our Handshake job board; for information on optimal recruiting timelines and average intern pay, please contact the Cox Career Management Center by email or at 214-768-6227. The Cox Career Management Center is not able to post or promote unpaid internships with for-profit companies.

  • More on Handshake

    Posting available opportunities in Handshake is an effective way to notify Cox students from all programs (graduate and undergraduate) about positions with your firm. All SMU students have access to the Handshake job board and Cox students utilize it regularly to monitor and apply for open positions and to register for upcoming on-campus career events.
