LEARNING IS SWEETER IN SUMMER

Summer Minors

College students today try to get the most out of their undergraduate education in four years, becoming part of the estimated 1.5 million students who graduate each year with bachelor’s degrees from U. S. colleges or universities.

As employers as well as graduate and professional schools look for unique qualities that set an applicant apart, SMU can assist in acquiring that extra value.

The design of the SMU undergraduate curriculum makes it easier to get more education value through a student’s ability to obtain a second major, minor or an additional bachelor’s degree in four years.  Summer Studies is working with various academic departments to offer courses in the summer to complete a minor.
