Assistant Director of Employer Relations (Hegi Family Career Development Center)

The Hegi Family Career Development Center at SMU is dedicated to serving the needs of SMU students and alumni, as well as assisting employers in reaching qualified SMU candidates. The Assistant Director assists with SMU's on-campus and off-campus recruiting activities for students. This position works closely with employer representatives, alumni and parents, as well as staff members within the Hegi Center. Primary objectives are to optimize the employer and student experience with the recruitment related systems activities of the Center and to maintain employer relationships and conduct outreach to new employers.

Priority consideration may be given to submissions received by May 25, 2018 with the final deadline being June 08, 2018.


Assistant Director of Assessment and Strategic Initiatives

We are seeking an Assistant Director of Assessment & Strategic Initiatives. This position will work to increase divisional knowledge of the impact of student experiences on retention and graduation rates, program effectiveness within the division, assessment of student learning outcomes, and best practices for implementing a comprehensive student experience. In collaboration with departmental leadership, the Assistant Director will work with departments to design and implement their assessment plans, create and deploy assessment tools, interpret and disseminate outcomes, and fully understand the data sets in which they manage. Additionally, this position will analyze and report on division-wide data and track the implementation of the new division strategic plan. The Assistant Director will also manage multiple survey efforts for the university, including large-scale surveys.

Priority consideration may be given to submissions received by May 18, 2018 with the final deadline being May 25, 2018.
Anticipated start date is near August 1, 2018.
