Assignments Coordinator (Coordinator 2), Residence Life & Student Housing
SMU’s Student Affairs Division is seeking a Coordinator 2 to manage and oversee day-to-day assignment and occupancy processes for Residence Life & Student Housing. The Coordinator will provide excellent customer service by problem solving and prompt resolution of customer needs. The Coordinator will coordinate student records related to housing, including processes for residence hall application and assignments, SMU Apartments, and fraternity houses. This position will assist the Senior Associate Director with implementation of the overall occupancy management plan. The Coordinator will work extensively in the housing management database, StarRez, including data management and process development.

SMU is seeking an Assistant Director, Fraternity & Sorority Life. The Assistant Director provides training, development, and support for the SMU fraternity and sorority community, including individual members, chapters, councils, advisors and inter/national organizations. Specific advisement is provided to the individual members and 8 chapters of the Panhellenic council. The Assistant Director creates initiatives, events and programs that benefit the entire community. The Assistant Director is also a member of the Student Involvement team and works in service of the department to encourage students to discover their interests and find a sense of belonging through involvement.

The Dr. Bob Smith Health Center, at Southern Methodist University, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner at our state-of-the-art campus facility. Under general physician supervision, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing primary health care to the students at Southern Methodist University. The nurse practitioner functions in collaborative practice with clinic physicians, mid-level providers, pharmacists, psychiatrists, psychologists/counselors, and nurses/medical technologists to provide optimal patient care. The nurse practitioner engages in the overall health and wellness objectives of the Dr. Bob Smith Health Center, participating in peer review activities, medical staff meetings, case reviews and in-house clinical training sessions; and serving on Student Health Center committees. In addition, the nurse practitioner works in partnership within the Division of Student Affairs to integrate the work of Dr. Bob Smith Health Center into the overall mission, vision and core values of the University.
