Summer School Housing 2019
Housing is available for undergraduate students enrolled for classes at SMU during the summer. Summer school housing will be in Morrison-McGinnis Commons. Students currently living in a residential community on-campus may complete the summer housing application using the housing portal. Students not living on-campus in the Spring may request an application by email or in our offices in Boaz.
Morrison-McGinnis features a variety of room configurations. Most summer school residents will have a roommate in a double occupancy room. A number of singles will be available and will be assigned in application date order (first come, first served) on a space available basis. Students interested in a single should request this when completing the application.

Double occupancy rooms: $670 for one session; $1,340 for both sessions
Single occupancy rooms: $770 for one session, $1,540 for both sessions
Single occupancy rooms are on a space available basis, first come first served.
Students attending one summer session will have a "Single Term" Block plan of 50 meals plus $225 flex. Cost is $780.
Students attending both sessions may select from one of two plans
- Full summer All Flex $1,380- cost is $1,380
- Full summer Block 100/$250Flex- cost is $1,190
A meal plan is required for all summer school residents in Morrison-McGinnis.
