Alizah is a senior from Dallas, Texas who is pursuing a major in Dance and a minor in in Arts Entrepreneurship. She has been dancing for 17 years and hopes to dance for many more years to come. Her other passions include: photography, teaching dance, choreographing, exploring new places, and reading. Her Christian faith is an integral part of her life. She enjoys attending and serving at her church, as well as volunteering at a community center in West Dallas.
Molly Kate Dalton
Molly Kate Dalton is a senior originally from Oxford, Mississippi. Molly Kate is currently pursuing a B.F.A in Dance Performance with minors in Arts Management and Applied Physiology and Enterprise. She has been dancing for 18 years. She hopes to use her passions to explore bridging her art and faith together through dance ministry and dance education. Molly Kate looks forward to studying and deepening her faith through the Faith and Learning Scholar program this Fall.
Cynthia grew up in Shanghai, China but now lives in Allen, TX. She is currently a sophomore majoring in piano performance at SMU Meadows School of the Arts. In her free time, she enjoys journaling, re-watching Parks and Rec, and searching for good Asian food in Dallas.
MacKenzie Korsi is a junior from Long Lake, Minnesota double majoring in Business Management and Corporate Communication & Public Affairs with a minor in Religious Studies. She is a member of Watermark Community Church and serves in the children’s ministry during the Saturday evening service. At SMU, MacKenzie works in the Office of Student Transitions & Orientation and leads with Watermark College Ministry. After graduation next May, MacKenzie hopes to work in management consulting and one day bring her knowledge to the nonprofit world.
Darci is from Shawnee, OK and recently moved to Dallas. As a 2016 graduate of the University of Oklahoma, she is currently a Master’s student at SMU, studying Higher Education. Currently, Darci serves as a graduate assistant in the Community Engagement and Leadership.
Charles is a part-time J.D. candidate in the Dedman School of Law, where he is expected to graduate in May 2018. Charles also works as a scientific advisor in a law firm. After finishing his Bachelor’s degree in China in 2006, Charles came to LSU (Baton Rouge, LA), where he obtained a Ph.D. in electrical engineering in 2012. Charles has been a Christian since 2007 and now attends a Chinese church in Richardson, TX. Charles is a proud father of three little girls, and also an avid fan of the Houston Rockets and LSU Tigers.
Liliana is a senior from Dallas, Texas majoring in Art and Education and minoring in Creative Computation and Art History. Liliana is passionate about education in the local Dallas area. She has volunteered with Readers2Leaders, SMU Catholic, and through the SMU Service House in social issues such as education and served immigrants, refugees, and English language learners. She sees an intersection between art making and her faith, and she looks forward to deepening her understanding through personal exploration. In addition to art and service, she also loves cats, dogs, and furry animals.
McKenzie is a Public Relations and Corporate Communications & Public Affairs double major with a Nonprofit Engagement focus graduating in December. She is from Irvine, California, and strongly believes that In N Out is superior to Whataburger. McKenzie is also a member of Sigma Phi Lambda, the Christian sorority on SMU's campus. In her free time, she likes to take intramural sports too seriously, drink too much coffee, and wake up too early on the weekends to yell at Manchester United on TV.
Lewis is a junior from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is majoring in Engineering Management Science and Philosophy with a minor in Computer Science here at SMU. Aside from school, Lewis is the secretary of his fraternity, Beta Upsilon Chi, is a tutor at Mathnasium and Readers2Leaders, and is an unapologetic food snob. Lewis looks forward to deepening his faith through discussion and friendship as a Faith & Learning Scholar.
Adam is a senior from Fort Worth, TX majoring in Marketing and History. His relationship with Jesus Christ drives his life and interactions. Adam loves stories, hearing people’s and sharing his own. As an avid Spikeball player, he is always “down” to play; anyone, anytime, anyplace. He is very active with SMU Catholic and plans to go into ministry following his graduation in May 2018.
Delaney is a Junior from Waxahachie, Texas. She is studying Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics, and is on track to graduate after three years in the spring of 2019. She enjoys being a part of Sigma Phi Lambda and attending church at Watermark Community Church where she teaches Sunday school. In her free time, Delaney enjoys playing guitar, reading, and spending time with friends.
