Savannah Hill is the Professional Development Coordinator for the Research in Mathematics Education research unit. She received her B.S. in Middle School Mathematics Education from Texas Christian University and her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction in Mathematics Education from the University of Texas at Arlington. While at SMU, Savannah has worked as a mathematics specialist writing and reviewing items for various assessment projects as well as her current role in creating professional development materials that will be disseminated in a Trainer of Trainer format across the state of Texas. She also developed teacher resources for students in grades 4-8 identified as struggling in mathematics. Prior to joining SMU, Savannah taught Geometry and Pre-Calculus at the secondary level. Her research interests include teacher content knowledge at the middle school level.
