The SMU Center for Family Counseling at Frisco ISD program, located in the Student Opportunity Center, is an outreach of SMU's Center for Family Counseling in Dallas. The goal of the program is to deliver developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive counseling services to students and families in the Frisco ISD. Services include individual, family, and adolescent counseling, as well as play therapy for children. All services are offered at low-to-no cost to the Frisco community. Students enrolled in the Frisco ISD Student Opportunity Center receive services at no cost. Clients must live in the Frisco ISD boundaries to receive services at the Frisco satellite clinic.
