From sports branding and marketing, sales, consulting, agencies, to coaching, the SMU Sport Management program (MSSM) creates a wide range of career tracks and our mission is to make sure you achieve your career goals.
Program Director, Pete Carton, has secured partnerships with countless sport industry leaders and companies across the DFW metroplex and beyond, so that MSSM students can build solid networking relationships that yield internships and full-time employment. As a student in the program you will be offered the opportunity to connect with sport industry experts during our Lunch & Learn Lecture Series, field trips, and in-class guest speakers.
In addition to those networking opportunities, you also have access to our Profession Development Database. The database provides curated resources from an ever-evolving list of sport related companies and organizations in DFW, a career readiness checklist, sport industry conferences, and more.
