Anthony holds a Bachelor's of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a concentration in secondary education. While teaching, Anthony pursued his master's degree in education with a concentration in English as a second language. Anthony holds a Ph.D. from Simmons School of Education and Human Development at Southern Methodist University where his dissertation focused on reclassification policies of English learners. In addition, Anthony holds a master's degree in statistics through Texas A&M. Prior to working with RME, Anthony was a graduate research assistant with the Budd Center where he co-collaborated on research projects. Anthony's research interests include mathematics instruction of English learners and policies that impact English learners.
