About

Dr. Katherine Pang is a licensed psychologist and founder, managing psychologist, and clinical director of Lakewood Wellness Partners a full-service private practice for therapy and assessment in the Lakewood area of Dallas and in Rockwall. She is also founder of MetaCogSkills and Brain Skills for Kids. Dr. Pang has several degrees including a PhD in Educational Psychology (Cognitive), a Master’s in Clinical Psychopharmacology, a Post Graduate Certificate in Neuropsychology, Lifestyle Health, and Primary Care Psychology. In addition, Dr. Pang has two law degrees (a JD and an LLM in Taxation from Georgetown University), an MBA, a master’s in educational technology and Psychology, in addition to theology degrees. Dr. Pang is also the Founder of the Christian Life Institute, focused on spiritual formation.

Dr. Pang has served as founder, president, CEO, COO and CFO of several companies including founding EdWay Online, an online education company. Dr. Pang has over 25 years of entrepreneurial and operational experience in professional services, manufacturing, and education-oriented companies. Dr. Pang also founded, Corporate Growth Strategists, an M&A/corporate restructuring company. Dr. Pang has served as the COO/CFO and General Counsel for a Dallas-based CNC precision and assembly manufacturing company to effectuate a restructure of corporate obligations and operations. Dr. Pang has also served as COO and General Counsel for Technology Training Services Corporation a technology training company delivering services in Europe under Unites States Government contracts, in addition to numerous other positions.

Dr. Pang has served as a faculty member in the Psychology and Counseling Departments at Texas A&M University – Commerce, the University of Texas at Tyler, and Criswell College, where she served as Program Director. She has also been an adjunct faculty member in the law and business/schools of many universities including the Stern School of Business at New York University, the Graduate School of Management at the University of Texas, Dallas, Pepperdine University, USC, Golden Gate University, the University of California, Irvine, Regent University, Argosy University, and Northeastern University. Dr. Pang has also been a speaker at many professional conferences and has numerous publications in peer-reviewed academic journals and has written several books and textbooks.
