Damion Davis

Dr. Damion Davis is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas and is trained to work with adolescents and adults with differing degrees of emotional and behavioral issues. In addition to working with adolescents and adults, Dr. Davis works with court related cases. Dr. Davis is a member of several counseling organizations and frequently speaks at professional counseling conferences.

Dr. Davis is the owner of the Davis Counseling Center, PLLC, which is a group private practice located in Addison, TX. The Davis Counseling Center, PLLC provides counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Dr. Davis’ interests include adolescent development, mood disorders, racial identity, and cultural development.  His dissertation examined how counselors in the state of Texas rate their understanding of African American clients.

Dr. Davis earned his B.A. from the University of Texas at Arlington and a M.Ed. in Counseling from the University of North Texas, specializing in adolescent, adult, multicultural counseling. Dr. Davis completed his Ph.D. in Counseling and Counselor Education at Texas A&M University-Commerce.
