Caitlin Anderson is a Lecturer in the Department of Applied Physiology and Wellness. She earned her Master's degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University, with an emphasis in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education. She has been teaching at SMU since 2012.

Caitlin's research interests include strengths-based learning, college student wellness, student authenticity and values-based education, and student transitional issues. She is a frequent presenter of college student wellness and the effectiveness of the first-year seminar at professional conferences nationwide and most recently had a case study accepted to the National Resource Center for the First-Year Experience's newest publication, What Makes the First-Year Seminar High-Impact? An Exploration of Effective Educational Practices.

Caitlin is currently working towards her doctoral degree in Higher Education at SMU. She enjoys spending time with her husband, J.J., their children, Wesley and James, and their two rescue dogs.
