SMU Opens New Centennial Quadrangle, Exhibit - SMU’s Second Century celebration began anew Friday with the dedication of a quadrangle and exhibit paying tribute to the University’s 100-year history while focusing on the future. This year SMU is celebrating the centennial of its founding and in 2015 will mark the 100th anniversary of its opening. (9/7/2011)

Armstrong gift to support new SMU living-learning community - Two alumni who lived on campus as SMU students are now making it possible for greater numbers of future students to enjoy the residential experience with new enhancements. (5/16/2011)

New gift establishes first Endowed Centennial Chair at SMU - A new gift to SMU from Sarah and Ross Perot Jr. of Dallas will establish the Jerome M. Fullinwider Centennial Chair in Economic Freedom, named in honor of Mrs. Perot’s father. The chair-holder will join the faculty in the William J. O’Neil Center for Global Markets and Freedom in SMU’s Cox School of Business. (5/16/2011)

Moody Foundation gift to drive major Moody Coliseum renovation - A $20 million gift from the Moody Foundation will help provide an extensive expansion and renovation of Moody Coliseum, a campus and Dallas landmark that is home to the pageantry of SMU Commencement as well as numerous speaking, athletics and community events such as concerts and high school graduations. Millers commit $10 million toward Moody Coliseum renovation and expansion - David B. Miller, SMU alumnus and member of the Board of Trustees, and his wife, Carolyn Lacy Miller, have committed $10 million toward the expansion and renovation of Moody Coliseum. (4/28/2011)
