Arts Entrepreneurship Minor

This six-course minor provides an overview of how to develop and launch a new arts venture, either for-profit or nonprofit. You'll learn how to create work consistently, build a business plan, and identify funding to get your venture off the ground through arts management and arts and media entrepreneurship courses.

Social Entrepreneurship

Across campus, you will find opportunities to build social entrepreneurship skills through courses at Dedman, Big iDeas, the Incubator@SMU, and Hunt Institute in Lyle. In the Meadows school there are growing number of courses and experiential opportunities to learn about social entrepreneurship and innovation, how to build a start up and principals of non-profit organizing.
