Incubator@SMU - Program Profile

The Incubator@SMU is located in Suite 700 of Expressway Tower on East Campus. The new space is a hub for all entrepreneurship programs - arts, corporate, creative, tech and social alike. Members benefit from co-working and break-out meeting spaces, Mustang Mentors, entrepreneurs in residence, training support and funding for their ventures. Pitch competition winners gain access to the incubator and all undergraduate, graduate, staff, faculty, and alumni are encouraged to apply.


Our members enjoy a world class business address in the heart of Dallas; coworking space; individual or shared private offices; conference and meeting rooms; free WiFi and support technologies.


Through Big iDeas entrepreneurs have opportunities to enhance their entrepreneurship coursework and learning through the E-Launch workshop series and E-Forum roundtable discussions, Founder lunches and distinguished speakers.


The Incubator@SMU hosts five mentors in residence, draws from a wellspring of experience from the SMU Campus and taps a broader community through Mustang Mentors.


Undergraduate can pitch to win seed funding in Big iDeas competitions, both undergraduates and graduates can compete to win in the SMU MBA Pitch Competition sponsored by the SMU MBA Entrepreneurship Club at Cox Business School, there is undergraduate and graduate funding from Clinton Global Initiative AND coming soon look out for Mustang Ventures an alumni and community start up fund for our incubator members.
