Perkins Fall Convocation

Perkins School of Theology organizes an annual fall event, generally during the second week of November. This continuing education program includes endowed lectureships, a variety of worship services, workshops, luncheons, symposia, and social events. Laity, clergy, and anyone with an interest in the study of theology and related topics attend from all over the nation. The Perkins Fall Convocation is a major unifying event for United Methodism in the South Central Jurisdiction.

Join us for this annual, two-day event at Perkins School of Theology to hear author, speaker, activist, and public theologian Brian McLaren along with Sandra Maria Van Opstal. A second-generation Latina, Van Opstal is a liturgist and activist dedicated to re-imagining worship that mobilizes for reconciliation and justice.
