The first two weeks for course 522 and 524 will be conducted online starting Monday, July 29 through Friday, August 9. The third week of class, starting Monday, August 12 through Friday, August 16, will be conducted in residence at Perkins School of Theology.
We have schedule these two 5th year courses in this manner in order to prevent students who plan to graduate to come to Perkins twice in the span of three weeks. By holding the third week of class in residence, students in their 5th year, and planning to graduate, can attend the Graduation Service the evening of Thursday, August 15.
Lodging: because the in residence week is too close to the start of the fall semester for SMU students, SMU Housing does not allow lodging for COSS participants during the week of Aug. 12 - Aug. 16 thus there is no on campus lodging available for students taking a 5th year course in Session 2. Please make your lodging accommodations off campus.
