Explore Call to Ministry, Graduate Theological Education at Oct. 17 Inside Perkins Event

DALLAS (SMU) – Are you discerning your call to ministry?  Are you considering graduate theological education? Join us as we explore the possibilities of a life-changing experience at Perkins School of Theology during “Inside Perkins” on Thursday, Oct. 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All prospective degree and non-degree students are invited to attend this free information session on the Perkins-SMU campus in Dallas. In addition to receiving a first-hand look at the range of educational opportunities offered at both the Dallas campus and through the hybrid Houston-Galveston Extension Program, prospective students will meet with students and faculty, attend a class, tour the school’s facilities and learn more about admissions and financial aid.

In addition, current Perkins students will share their own experiences of ministry discernment and graduate theological education selection. Register for the Oct. 17 Inside Perkins event here.

“When prospective students come to campus, they are given the chance to explore Perkins,” said Dr. Margot Perez-Greene, Associate Dean of Enrollment Management. “We heard from one of our new fall 2019 students that ‘visiting campus’ made all the difference. The warm hospitality they encountered and opportunity to experience, first-hand, the Perkins community informed their decision to choose Perkins.”
