Academic Technology Open Lab

Stop by to learn more about any system or service in the ATS portfolio, like Canvas, Kaltura, and Qualtrics, or classroom technology, research computing support, and video production.

Canvas: Assignment Groups and Gradebook

Come and learn how to make assignment groups in Canvas that match the categories on your syllabus. This will create a more accurate gradebook for students to be able to track their progress in your course.

Canvas: Boot Camp

Our Canvas Boot Camp sessions are an all-day workshop. Feel free to come-and-go to any sessions you are interested in. Also, hands-on support will also be available throughout the day in our open lab room 110.

Canvas: Conferencing

Come and learn how to schedule and hold virtual conferences with your students. Your students can also hold group conferences for projects you assign. Using Canvas or the Zoom integration, you can connect seamlessly with your students.

Canvas: Create Dynamic Discussions

Intro to SharePoint: An Online Collaboration Tool

SharePoint is an online collaboration tool that maximizes Microsoft Teams, Planner, Office 365, and much more. We will discuss how this tool is being used in Executive Education for project collaboration. Learn how you and your students can use this tool for online group collaboration.
