The SMU elections system is a service provided by OIT for elections or votes of broad interest. Because of the time required to set up and monitor an election, use of the election system is limited only to elections that cover all students, faculty, or staff.
The system is only intended for formal election environments where users must log in and cast a ballot. This system cannot be used for surveys; please use Qualtrics for those.
How It Works For Users
- Log in.
- Make selections and hit Confirm Ballot.
- Review ballot and hit Cast Ballot or Make Corrections. (Make Corrections takes you back to step 2 but preserves your selections.)
- Final "thank you" screen is displayed.
